Dahlia Fahmy PT, MBA.
Dahlia is the owner and founder of Sports and Ortho Physical Therapy which was established in 2003. Her main goal for starting the practice was to give patients the type of care that she felt they deserved and needed to get them back to full recovery. Her belief strongly lies in providing individual hands-on care along with an extensive exercise regimen and has seen great results with this combination.
Dahlia graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked with college football, hockey, and soccer teams as well as semi-pro football teams. Since graduating she has focused on perfecting her skills in orthopedics and sports medicine and has taken several courses in Manual Therapy and Orthopedics as well as completing her Manual Therapy Certification through St. Augustine University. As a dedicated clinician she is determined to see every patient get results, feel good about their care, and return back to their normal lives as quickly as possible.
Surrounded by a great staff of caring and highly trained therapists, her goal is to build a practice that is highly regarded in the Orthopedic community as well as the community in which the clinics' serve.

Cori Mack
PT, MPT, CWCE
Cori graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 1997. She went on to earn her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University in 2001. Since that time she has dedicated herself to outpatient orthopedics focusing on the treatment of various muskuloskeletal conditions. Cori has continued to study advanced manual therapy through the Australian Physiotherapy Institute with an emphasis on the Maitland approach. She has completed the coursework to achieve her COMT (Certified Osteopathic Manual Therapist) specialization. Cori has been trained to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE’s), and has been designated as a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator, who assists in determining an appropriate return to work for patients following injury.
Cori advocates a treatment plan which incorporates both hands-on care with a comprehensive exercise program to attain the best possible outcome. She believes that successful recovery is based on constant reassessment of a patient's injury, giving extensive hands-on treatment, teaching thorough self-management through exercise and body mechanics, and continually educating patients.

Beth Beaumont
Beth Beaumont has been practicing Physical Therapy in out patient orthopedics for over four years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 2000 and her Master’s in Physical Therapy from University of Indianapolis in 2002. She has had extensive training in Mckenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy for Lumbar, Thoracic
And Cervical Spine. She has also done continuing education for advance treatment of the shoulder and knee with Kevin Wilk, the Mulligan approach and hand rehabilitation.

Stephanie Farney
Stephanie graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2007. Prior to that she earned her BS in Biology with an emphasis on pre-physical therapy studies from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. During her time at Wash U she received training in the Movement Impairment Syndromes diagnosis and treatment system from its creator, Shirley Sahrmann, PT. Her clinical experiences were quite varied, ranging from outpatient orthopedics, to working with people with mental and physical disabilities, to pediatrics. Her current practice emphasis is outpatient orthopedics, and she has taken continuing education courses in manual therapy, core stabilization, and sports medicine. She is looking forward to beginning training in Mckenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spines.

Sam Shah DPT
Sam received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. His clinical experience has given him an opportunity to work with a variety of patients including professional baseball players to volunteering for the at need population in the community. He continues to expand his horizons by taking continuing education courses on the lumbar spine and utilizing the Applied Functional Science model as advocated by Gary Grey. He will also be specializing in assessment and treatment of tempromandibular disorders along with pursing a certification in Muscle Activation Technique (MAT).

Aikane Belez, MSED, ATC
Aikane graduated from the University of Tampa in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Athelic Training, and from Old Dominion University in 2005, where he earned his Master of Science in Education degree with the focus in Athletic Training. During his time at ODU, Aikane served as a graduate teaching assistant for undergraduate courses, research assistant in the Sports Medicine Research Laboratory, and athletic trainer for a variety of college and high schools. Prior to joining Sports & Ortho, he worked as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Athletic Trainer for Tusculum College, where he was responsible for teaching courses in the education program, team coverage for the nationally-ranked men’s and women’s soccer teams, and clinical education of athletic training student.
His clinical specialties included advanced therapeutic exercise, back-to-work conditioning, sports performance enhancement , and biomechanical analysis. Aikane is working to enhance the Back-to-Work work conditioning/hardening program at Sports & Ortho, and to implement a Performance Enhancement program for both adults and teens.
